Best of luck. You have talent so dont waste it creating an image of drunken bikers chuging forties. Have fun but try and be responsble about the influence you have on hundreds if not thousands of kids who dream about being as good as you. peace

Did Gully injure himself Canada Day 2006? Because I seen him a couple of times, once at Whistler riding/flying, and at the Cove. This was in late Aug, 2006. Gully looked fine to me....but then again, i'm not a doctor...

I wholeheartedly agree, the influence the kid has on me is tremendous and I'm straight edge so when I see photos of my favorite mountain biker drinking alcohol like that it honestly makes me want to do it, but I know its wrong so I don't. Hopefully he will smarten his act up soon because someone of his stature has a big influence on people like me and my mom gets mad if she sees me drinking 40's.

its not like hes an alchi here. Pretty sure almost everybody here drinks a bit. accept for Benton. hes still a huge inspiration to alot of us. He was the first mtn biker i had ever heard of pretty much. i defenetly look up to him. if youve ever ridden with him youll see how rad of a person he really is; your making him sound soo bad here its depressing ahhaha. the stuff that comes out of his mouth too, ahahah hillarious, Hes still a kid that has fun, just like all of us; and thats what its about. and cmon its TFJC of course they drink 40's what else?

I see where this kid is going w/ this statement.
Most of us do like to tie one on, but what is w/ the DH crowd trying to create this image of bad ass partiers? What's with the whole pimp / throwing around money thing?
Show me something new, and show me something interesting.

Gully was at the one and only Sprockids ride on the shore last spring along with Wade and Hoots, and he seemed to be a pretty nice young guy. I also bought a bunch of stuff at his garage sale a couple years back, which I think was a great idea - in fact my son bought a Cove ball cap that says Gulevich on the inside- major points in the grade 7 boardin' n bikin' crowd. But I agree, the Pimp/Dude act is off the mark.
