Nice brakes at a wicked price, wooooohoooooo!!!!!

I just installed the Juicy 7 brakes on my bike. I must say they look nice, BUT the front brake hose is on the short side. I have Fox 36 forks on the front and I had just barely enough hose length for a proper fit. There is no way these would fit on a bike with triple crown forks.

Just a heads up boys n girls. Maybe pick up an extra hose or a rear brake if you intend on putting it on the front of your bike with long travel forks.

Wicked deal though.

The brakes include 6" Shimano rotors and 6" adapters. I just used my 8" Hayes rotors and adapters.

are there any 3-l Jansport packs left?

I also bought a set of juicy 7s, and the front line is way too short. can anything (other then buying a new line) be done about this? I haven't tried mounting them yet.
somewhat annoying, but still an awesome deal.

Nope, you need a longer brake line, then re bleed the the brake. I was very lucky that I bought them specifically for my HT with single crown forks. Had I wanted to get them for the big bike I would be in the same boat as you.

Still you can buy a new line, bleed kit or even get it done at a shop cheaper than the price you would have paid for the brakes at most other boxing day sales.

We bought a front & rear set of OEM Juicy 7s for my wife's XC FS today.

Initially they had one Shimano rotor & one Tektro, eventually we found a second Shimano rotor in their back display case which the sales person swapped out the Tektro. At least now the rotors match. The brake sets didn't come with rotor bolts, so charging an extra $3 for them is lame IMO.

My brake seems spongy does that go away as the pads break in or do they have air in the system

I picked up a set of Juicy 7's for the Devo. The back line was long enough but like you guys the front brake's line was about an inch too short. I bought a new hose today ($45) and got the bleed for free. Finally I got brand new brakes! Pumped.

If you or your friend (in peru) want the travis but can't get in before the sale ends at 5pm sunday, give us a call (604-988-1800) or email us (bsp05@telus.net). Ask for Bob or Ian, we'll work it out.
