Looking for a pair of new snowboard bindings. Preferably toe-cap style, I've heard they're worth it.

Anyone know of some good deals/recommend some good places to get them? How much am I looking at spending? If there's some in the $150 range that would be sweet.

at this time of year the only place would be online. i grabbed my technine team's last year for $150(total transaction) on ebay.
i do beleive you are limited to burton or technine for toe straps but then again you can just buy the baltimore toe strap solo from technine and toss it on anything.

A lot of other companies have toe straps this year. Rome bindings have convertible toe straps which work pretty well, and you aren't limited to only using the toe configuration if you don't end up liking it. I'm pretty sure the Rome Arsenal (which is the same as last year's 390) can be had for around 180 online.

If u get toe cups... Make sure you do the toe strap up first. So many ppl dont... and it's the most important thing to do with them.

I recently purchased a pair of Flow bindings..are there any advantages/disadvantages to the Flow style as opposed to toe-cap or is it just preference? Personally, I really dig getting in and out of my bindings in seconds.

Flow bindings are great. Their one major disadvantage is one of its main selling points: the rear entry system. Really nice when you're getting off the lifts, but if you have to strap up in a dicey area or in deep snow they're pretty annoying. If I see a pair of the NXT AT's on sale I'm definately gonna pick up a pair though.

I would stay away from flow bindings, whats the point? are you that lazy to strap in, plus once they start to get old and break your in a whole new world of screws and devices that you have to fix, alot of shops will just stay away from them.

I got technine's last year. i love them, but the hard ware is not the best. They are quite heavy, and edgy(sharp screws and long bolts) that tend to shred up my new burton hail boots. 170$ i think, new but a year old.

everything from 04/05 and below from technine is horrible, but from 05/06 and up they deffintly stepped up their game, I have the 06 mfm's and ive used them over 100 times on the mountain and their still in great condition

There is pretty much nothing that will make me give up my Ride's. I am currently on the EX's but have ridden the LS and Team's in the past and I must say they are the most responsive binding I have ridden.

Same here man, I have 05 Ride EX's, and they're incredible! After having broken a pair of K2 v9 bindings and a pair of Sims bindings, the Rides are a sigh of relief.

If anything else, Burton Cartel's would be up next.

I'm riding Rome Targas this year. I've only had a day on them, but they're leaps and bounds ahead of my Burton Missions.
