Yeah, Wade's right. Incredible story. A little shout out to Simon...

Contact me when you're out this way and we'll take care of you (unless the realities of summer business preclude it anyway). You're proof that you can live the dream so long as your priorities are in order.

Hey, hi out there everyone!! Sorry for the late response, my internet connection was down for over a week by now. Like, 2-3 hours ago, I sat up in front of my computer, as always, checking NSMB news and stuff. What do I see, Wade's Wisdom! So, I say to myself, let's check out what people have questionned Wade about, and how he answered them!

Starting to read..., end of the first paragraph, I see my name...what? I read again the paragraph...wait, that's really my name...! So stoked that he has read it, I just can't believe it you know.. I was just getting into some psyched out feelin'. I'm still reading, reading, and bang, here it goes, the whole e-mail I sent to Wade, in front of me, on a NSMB page, woawww, that hit a lot!, but in the good way! I didn't wrote this letter at all to be displayed on a internet page, I wrote it because I had things, that I had to say to Wade. Things and feelings that were so hard inside me since then, and I had to share them with him, and you know, I can say, I feel way better now that I have talked to him, really. But, I am pleased that a lot of people can share what I have passed through, that you can live after some very difficult periods in your life, ever stronger and more determined than ever. This crash has made me different, for sure, I don't see life the same as before, I enjoy every second of it, full speed ahead!!

To all the people out there, keep your head up, even in the worst times, cause you know, what Wade sais is so true : Desire is a powerful thing. Probably the most powerful thing out there, always stay mentaly strong, and life's a gift!

Enough said about me, you know already much!

And, to you guys out there, you are so.. man, how could I describe it, you are mountain biking, you are makin' it alive! I'm currently planning my 2007 trip, and yeah, I'm looking forward to schedule a trip with Bush Pilot!! The trip is just a dream come true, think my head will be spinning round all winter long...!!! Thanks a lot for the support words, I really appreciate it, even if the crash is over, total recovery is not totally done, thanks!!

Thanks a lot to you all out there, got nothing but love for ya!

I'll be e-mailing Bush Pilot real soon for some further informations!

Have a nice weekend,

Simon Gauthier.

Good to hear such a positive response Simon. A good mental state can make such a huge difference to your recovery, but it's so hard to maintain. You are a truly epic example of willpower and the desire to ride!
