View Full Version : 06 norco six shock mounting hardware size

Can anyone tell me exactly the rear shock mounting hardware dimensions on an '06 Norco Six, ex: 26.1 x M6?

I need both sides. I called two shops but there is no literature on this apparently. I can measure with a tape measure but I want to be accurate. Mounting hardware measure to a fraction of a millimeter sometimes.

Top shock bolt: M8x30mm
Bottom shock bolt: M8x85mm
The reducer sizes are 24mm top and 56mm bottom.

Thanks, are you 100% sure? The bottom looks to be no more than 55mm.

It's 56mm. I assume you need the reducer spaces?
I bought a Swinger from Santa Cruz and had to machine the reducers myself since they are different sizes and OGC only has 50mm and 60mm. The reducer diameter is 12mm

What shock length does the 2006 Norco Six have? 7.785x2.25 or 2.0 stroke?
I have a DHX 5 Coil in 2.25" stroke, IŽd like to put it on a Norco six frame that I could for ass cheap.
