03 was the best year for dorado.. but I think its a 04... 03 was Red 04 was blue for the giant Team DH.. when it came in Blue.. 7" not 6" model.. I could be wrong. tho.
Good fork.

Well, 03 and 04 were both 7" (180mm) I believe, so the 7" figure is neither here nor there (ross, where the did the 6" come from??), also the MRD x-works version was the 8" SPV fork, as opposed to the (normal) dorado dh. So no major difference between 03 and 04 though there may have been numerous tweaks. By 04 or maybe 05 the forks were beefed up somewhat, I think the changes were mainly in the uppers around the crowns.
$300??? Wow, talk about depreciation...
It is tempting, even though I would have no use for it, I mean, who doesn't want a Dorado? At the very least its a sweet wall decoration...kind of like hanging a painting, except better.

umm 03 was 6" atleast from what I remeber on a guys bike who worked there.. 03 had diff legs.. they mounted the Guards Diff also.
Mayb it was custom..
never delt much with dorados now nor when I started.. they were already going away.. X works were the bad ones thats all I remeber.. except the one I got on my cruiser.. that thing sucks up curbs like NO tomorrow
