Alright I'll get started...

http://photos.nsmb.com/showimage.php?i=8931&catid=searchresults&searchid=43001
Frame: Banshee Chaparral w/ DHX5 (large, 2006)
Fork: Boxxer WC (2006)
Rims: EX721
Hubs: Hope ProII (f), XC (r)
Tires: Michi Comp 16 2.5
Shifters: x7 (I think so atleast...)
Rear Derailleur: x9
Cranks: Hone
Guide: DRS
...and lots of other parts which I am a bit to lazy to mention.

Weight: 43.8 pounds

Riding Style: Anything from Cross-country to North Shore technical trails, to lift accessed Jumps, to Downhill, basically anything but big drops and gappers.
And I don't know what the frame weight or build kit weight is, though I would guess that you would know the weight and therefore could figure the build kit weight, I would be interested to know what the seperate weights are.

RD: Shimano 105
Levers/Shifters: Shimano lever/shifter combo
Handlebar: Bontrager Crowbar
Tires: Tioga Factory DH F&R, Nokian Gazzalodi S, Bontrager Earl

I have never measured but it should be about 35-36lbs
frame is 7lbs

It was done by some powder coater in Portland, OR with a big batch of Mountain Cycles, even though they never ended up using the color. I don't remember the name of the place, but it cost around $80 for the two pieces.

Just a note, I would have to advise against relying on bathroom scale weighing, in my personal experience it is inaccurate. I gave it a few tries and the results ranged from 40lbs to 41.5 pounds (as weight difference, the supposed weight of the bike), however when weighed in (at an official measuring station for a race) it was 43.8...just a bit different. (Maybe I just had bad luck or horrible math..feel free to add your input if you have weighed with bathroom scales and other scales for comparison.)

connor, beautiful bikes! The SX looks like such a great trail and play bike, very nice!

39.4 according to the hook at dizzy in this incarnation. I've lightened it up a bit recently with a Ti spring, lighter chainguide, bar stem combo, and an X0 drivetrain so I think it must be in the 38ish range now.

[QUOTE=xy9ine](is the spreadsheet maybe a little obsessive-compulsive?)

Is the total at the end a dry weight? Or did you put the assembled bike on the hook? If you dry weight the parts, it will never match out exactly after assembly, once you grease and oil everything. I would be interested to see how close it actually is, it could be close, more of a curiosity.

total of individually weighed parts. assembly lube weight was negligable. i weighed the complete bike (by subtraction) on a digital bathroom scale and it was hovering between 36.5-37.0, so in the ballpark.

Soon to be Saint almost all around (der., shifter, cranks, brakes, rear hub)
729's soon, but boat anchor Doubletracks for now.
Shiny Thomson stem.

Ride a lot of Whistler, fast open jump trails, tight trails with drops, and some dirtjumping once in awhile.

Frame was 9 and a half pounds on the dot.

Build ride now is 41 pounds, should hopefully be around 39 once my wheels are built.

That's cool, I always wondered how much extra all the little bit added (grease, oil, zap straps), plus there is always something that you forget to weigh.

That's a sweet looking PDC, looks awfully long though (could just be the picture or the colour), what's the wheel base on it?

What's the weight of the bottlerocket frame? I thought that build should be around 38lbs (~36lbs with lighter rims).

bottlerocket is pretty beefy, from their web site:

# Frame Weight (without rear shock): 8.2 lbs

so another 1lb or so for air and 2lbs for coil w/ steel spring.
