Well, who would have believed it, but a dark and rainy thursday evening one year ago about 10 brave (some would say crazy') souls set out for the first of Vancouver's bi-monthly midnight bike rides. It was damp, but there was hot mulled wine and camraderie and the idea stuck.
We've ridden every second and fourth Thursday of the month for a full year since then - there have been new faces, new friendships formed, secret hang out spots discovered, and much bikelove momentum generated in that year and now we want you to come out and ride with us (and maybe eat some cake too) to celebrate!
As always, we meet at Grandview Park (commercial drive @ charles st) at 11:45, and ride at midnight - bring your lights and your friends and you thermoses full of hot refreshments and get your ass to the midnight mass one year anniversary ride - tonight!
