Excellent/mint condition, just like the ad says.

The west coast Nikon service center is in Richmond, just off of Viking Avenue.
The camera is not even close to 4 years old, more like 2 years. I've taken 18,000 shots with it and Nikon rates these cameras for 150,000, so I've only used 10% of it's rated life. It still has 90% more life in it. I would consider 10% use to be at the very low end of the scale. Minimal at best.
Some guys shoot 300,000 shots with these things... rain or shine. When the shutter finally fails, you just get the shutter replaced and off you go again. That's what separates "pro" bodies from "consumer" bodies. The pro bodies are built to take thousands and thousands of images in all types of conditions (pro bodies are completely weather sealed). They are build to get the job done, week after week.
As with most things, you get what you pay for.
Now, if the question is whether or not you need "pro" equipment
and willing to pay the money to get it, only you can answer that.
