Bikes for Tykes
Obsession Bikes (soon to formerly be Dizzy Cycles North Vancouver) is again running its Bikes for Tykes program.
We are taking in previously owned kids and adult bikes and fixing them up to give out at Xmas to kids in our community that are not as bike fortunate as us. We are partnered with The North Shore Outlook, Family Services of the North Shore, Hollyburn Family Services, Trek Bikes, Shimano, Cycles Lambert, Big Brothers and Big Sisters as well as other good folks in the Community who have stepped up to help. Last year the program was super successful as we received 75 bikes and relocated close to 60 bikes.
This year our goal is to relocate 150 bikes. If you are interested in helping out you can drop off bikes, tires and other good condition parts during business hours (7 days/week 10-6 except Sunday (10-5)) at 94 Lonsdale in North Vancouver.
