Yep, it's true - Different Bikes is opening a second shop! We had a solid first season and heard from lots of customers that we should look to expand our recipe.

The location will be right at the base of Mt. Seymour, in the Parkgate mall.

We're pumped to have Rocky Mountain Bicycles as our main brand in both locations, and we'll have Devinci, Knolly Bikes and more in North Van. We'll also have rentals, a demo fleet and great, fast service options. Stay tuned for more updates!

Our 2006 Bike Clearout is still happening!
Huge deals on last few remaining 2006 bikes from Rocky Mountain, Jamis, IF, Felt and Moots. Call or visit to check them out while they last.

you guessed it - Jeff (rabbit) will be the main guy behind the counter at NVan. He'll be helping out with the WVan store as well but focused on the new store.

Every rider that's ever ridden Seymour has wondered why there isn't a shop in that mall. Nice to see someone has finally taken the bull by the horns.

I know I've spent too much time in yaletown now... the photo is blurry and it's not a very wide angle, but I immediately recognized that as the Blenz on the corner of Hamilton and Helmcken.

Mall = expensive for a bike store.

Wow - nice location. Is it going to be between the liquor store and the A+W?

Yes that's the spot. We have some work to do, but it should be ready for Feb/Mar 2007. And yes there will be a party at opening time!

Yes we'll definitely have a service centre and staff there, 7 days a week, when we open in the spring.

A bike shop and liquor store next to each other! Man I'm in trouble.

Great news! A shop at that location would have allowed for a second lap for us yesterday to fix a quick mechanical. I for one am stoked!

Good move! Cove has always been kinda far for fixing mechanicals on Seymour and I dunno if they even sell stuff outta the Deep Cove location. Parkgate will be so convenient. You guys should get a shitty truck and run shuttles!

Good idea, we're working on it. How does a 1986 Chev 3/4 ton called Trixie sound?

We will be adding to the DB crew for the 2007 season. Mechanics, sales staff and bookkeeping/accounting all needed. Send us your CV if you're interested in being part of the team. Great package of comp, benefits and flexibility for the right few people. Plus you get to work with Jeff....
