Cheese is cool!

They are totally life styling stuff! Forget product... it's all about lifestyle!

Good article otherwise, and yes a "How-to" would be nice!

Cheers!

I thought he came off a little arrogant. He definitely loves himself, but heck, if I was a 20 year old just turned pro rider throwin big front flips at international competitions I'd probably develop a little ego myself. It was a good interview and I can't wait to see him in a video.

Good Article

He does come across a little proud, but he is 20 and in the limelight as someone else said I think we would all be like this if we were 20 and had the camera in our faces.

Give him a few years to mature into mtb and he will transform into a great spokesperson for our sport.

Remember that the person doing the interviewing (SGH) represents adidas - one of his main sponsors. You can bet that in that atmosphere some pumping up is a given. I spoke to him in Saalbach and he seemed to have a really good head on his shoulders.

I think he comes across as a bit of a nob too.

He wants to be the number one in Mountain Biking ?

What's that then ? Slopestyle ? Who knows who's number one in Slopestyle ?

Slopestyle is about as far away from Mountain Biking as it gets.
He better get racing if he wants to be the number one Mountain
Biker IMO.

I have an MBUK magazine that shows you how to front flip but it was some other guy. it was a mag from last year.

Jim Dechamp?. He rammed his front brake to do them.

Lance McDermott. The real deal BMX style frontflips.

My point is Slopestyle is closer to BMX street comps than Mountain Biking.

lol i ride both bmx and mtb and the only thing similar is tricks. slopestyle is way more gnar then a set of jumps or wallride on the street. and how it slopestyle at all like street riding!!?!?! hahahah

when i was shooting at crankworx and talked to him he seemed to be mature and modest as well. either he's changed A LOT since then or, as Cam suggests, the interview's quite biased.

I was just shocked he was a Manc, I just presumed he was american. I think to judge character you need to meet them/see them on film being interviewed.

Also I want to be number 1 in biking, not doing anything about it but given 3 wishes 1 would be to be the fastest/most skillful/fluid downhiller on the planet. I think it shows ambition and is comendable. If he was asked what he wanted and said he'd like to be top 10 then i'd think he didnt have drive.
