Yeah that sucked and what was even worse imo is that I got a pinch flat on the way down about 10 min after you took off down the road:( :mad: :( Ant I gave my spare tube to Ouch! and didn't have a spare and ended up hiking for a couple miles:mad: :rolleyes: :(

The steeper frame for the tranny is now in place, thanks to Bluekey's help. I'll be there on thursday to fill it in with dirt and rock the tranny so the dirt doesn't doesn't slide all the way down. Then Sunday i'll be able to get started on the gap jump. More help is always needed and appreciated. :cool: :8):

Hehe, we both were pretty tierd after making the steeper tranny frame. I'll be there tomorrow (thursday) to fill in the tranny. I'll see if I can get a couple of buds to help out. If it's not just me there, we'll ride 1/3 and build 2/3. :cool: I'll probably be there at 4:30 till the jobs done. :D

It's not a hip, it's straight gap, the tranny is directly in front of the jump and the tranny points to the left also. You gotta see it for yourself to really understand what i'm sayin'.

Hey, would any of you "Shed Heads" be interested in going to the Shore or the Woodlot with me on Saturday May 17th. Time: Start before noon.

I'm hoping to find a few people who know the trails well, because I've never actually been:o. I'd be happy riding any mountain really.

For those of you haven't ridden with me, I'm not a great rider or really that fast, but at the same time I wouldn't consider myself a beginner. I'd be willing to try most trails (with maybe a couple of exceptions).

Let me know! As much as I love the Shed, I'm itching to try something new!

O.K It looks like saturday morning shore ride on Fromme. Leaving N.D. @ 8:30 or 9:00 am... riding by 9:30- 9:45. So far it will be me and bruiser. If you or Scott (NSMB rider ) want to come thats fine but we don't have time or patience if you are going to spend all day walking up the mountain and standing around looking at stuff... we are there to ride. thats not to say it will be go, go , go but we don't have all day. I can take 4 people and 4 bikes so currently there are 2 spots available... first come first served.

Anyone else want to come...

P.S. for those who have not been to Fromme you can expect to spend 45 to 65 minutes climbing to upper oil can ( at a reasonable pace)and it is my intention to climb to the third switchback and hit leapard trail then all the way up to upper oil can, back up to Starfish and then boundry ( or Digger ) ending in more climbing back to the car so you can expect to spend about 2 hours climbing.:eek:

I'd love to come and i don't mind climbing at all. I'm working friday 3-7 so i'll arrange it so I work sunday 7-3 instead of saturday 7-3. Should be an awesome day at Fromme. What time would we get back? I'd have to be back around 4.

Good news, i found my lost hatchet it was under all that cedar fencing that i hacked up into tiny peices. I placed all the fencing in the tranny for the drop and now it needs to be filled in with dirt. I'm also going to "rock it" so it'll last forever. There's a huge pile of rocks in front of the tranny. I still need more rocks for the tranny so it would be awesome if any of you could place a few medium sized rocks there for me. :) :D

Well, I went out on my virgin shore ride and all I can say is THE SHORE RULES!!!! Despite being bashed and bruised it was an awesome ride. Thanks goes out to Dave and Al for showing me how it's done at the shore. And thanks to Mike for sharing in the fun of a virgin shore ride. I can't believe I waited this long to get up there. All in all a great ride and definetly hop to do it again!:D

By the time you get there get the bikes out of the truck, gear up , ride over to the lifts, buy a ticket... trust me you need the extra half hour. Besides if we are trying to leave by 7:30 them we will probably be on the road by 7:45 if we are lucky more like 8:00 before we are actually driving.

thanks for doing a fantastic job of marking the drop at the end closed. finished the 3 teeters then got to massive wooden planks on the up ramp.. you should put instead of "caution", "INSTANT DEATH" or something related to this..

Also I was wondering about the mini A line trail if we could have a maintenance day to perhaps increase the length of the first two jumps so that you can take em a bit bigger... I've bottomed out like every time going over those cause I miss the tranny by like 5 feet. :eek:

:( you know what. I had a feeling they were going to . As soon as we left it was nice the whole way home. Even when we were changing in the parking lot, It was getting sunny. Oh well . Next time.
