So long as they're wearing a lid....
... too many riders riding without helmets, or helmets that aren't strapped up (what's the point!), not setting a good example IMO.

Na, no problem. This BMX/MTB debate, in all its forms, is tired.

Recently it has come to my attention that mountain bikers are starting to dress like motocrossers. Is it cool to wear body armour instead of lycra? Is it cool to wear a fullface?
what are you opinions on this situation?

Is it cool to wear a fullface?
That depends . If your riding a $5 tenspeed to school, than a half face is nessisary and a fullface is definately not cool. On the flip side, if your a freetard rippin seymour throw in down a couple "on your face" passes, than yes, its very cool to wear a full face.

I never understood jeans for riding, once they are damp, they cahfe like a bastard.
Lycra may be ugly, but it's practical. I still wear lycra under my shorts.

it would be a lot cooler to wear jeans if my roach shinpads fit underneath. right now when i wear jeans i have to wear my shinpads on the outside and i think that people might be making fun of me

They are just jealous. Everyone should buy a BMX.

If jeans and a tee shirt makes me a BMXer, holy there are a tone out there.
I would never wear that as the firts time that I did... I got to hot! I wear shorts... and a tee shirt!
Wear what you like!

I think more of the younger riders are dressing like BMXers cuz it looks cooler. no offence to any of us but wearing all that armer makes us look pretty "uncool" But then again all that armer saves peoples lifes, so wear it!

I dont waer jeans, because its a pain in the ass to ride in them. In the summer, its too hot, so ur sweating like a pig, and its harder to gt armor on under them, and for the other rainy 10 months of the year, jeans get cold and wet. and besides, if you are wearing jeans, you never get your legs muddy
on the other hand, I wear jeans to school almost every day
