Yes folks its only the first year and its already classic, Team shuttlewhore had so many great rides this year with our friends and co Racers at the ripper events that we thought we would throw a little “group ride” with a big Barbeque team shuttlewhore style.


First off lets talk about the event.

This will be a group ride event ideally groups of 4 or 5 people so get a few friends together and come on out. Or if you really like to have fun just show up and we will mix the groups up and people can ride with some new folks and make some friends..

We thought we would do something a little different this so the format for the ride is going to be a scavenger hunt. Participants will be given a booklet with north shore trail icons, some stunts, some landmarks, and a couple wacky places where they must take a group photo with a digicam. Points will be assigned to each station the harder they are to find the more points you get. Bizarre antics in the photos will be given some extra points. Anyway you get the idea ride lots take photos and have a good time. Shuttle, climb hike your bike we don’t care but just be back for the wind up BBQ

So, have you ridden with a whore before? Of course it'll be all over the shore. You'll prolly have to climb Cypress at least 3 times and Fromme twice.

I was sick from last night still... It was just congested sinuses so I thought maybe some riding would do me good. While the actual riding part was great I think I got significantly more sick because of the standing around and the lack of dry clothes to put on for my third lap. Good to meet you today safety...

Well I had a super awesome day thanks to the whores. Those guys have perfected the art of shuttling. 6 full pulls in total. Def a record for me for North Shore riding. A bunch of great guys to ride with.

After you guys left, we did 3 laps at Cypes. It was dry, but tacky. Quite the contrast to Seymour. Amazing conditons overall. 5th horseman was prime.

Steak on the bbq to & a couple of beers to finish the day. What an epic!

well i didn't get in as much riding as i'd like, but sure had fun hanging out with the 'whores and eating myself stuffed. i think this needs to be either a monthly or bi-monthly thing :P
