Hey All.
Fergs and I are in Sin City as we speak after the first day of dirt demo. A sweet day to be sure. I rode a new Slayer and a Cove Shocker.
If you have any requests for booths to check out in the show on Wednesday or if you want us to try and ride certain bikes at the Demo please let us know.
We'll do our best but it's always a bit of a crap shoot.
Back to my frosty beverage and then updating after a feed at the Pink Taco.

Knolly!
Funny...companies are releasing they products before Interbike now, so we've seen a lot of stuff already.
I'm interested in the new Bullit.

Most recent news I have is the bullit is coming back still single pivot, 1.5 headtube, lighter and even better. First protos are to Santacruz now - but will be a spring 07 release. Wasn't likely to be any info at interbike... but who knows... maybe the first proto was a winner.

so...is mtncycle dead or alive?
The rear end of the mountain cycle looks similar to what the new Santa Cruz looks like. I would suspect that it is similar to the bullit. I will try to find pics.

Kye, is that the Heckler, Superlight or the Bullit? Actually it looks a bit lightweight to be a Bullit now that I really look at it.
edit: That MC Battery is one sexy bike. You know, this new crop of short-ish travel slopestyle, urban dj bikes are seriously money.

the orange one sure looks like a new heckler to me.
<edit> until you go to the SC website... it's a superlight. I like the curves of the rear triangle.
Heckler appear to be unchanged.

Info on Kona and Transition would be cool. Floating brake
on Kona Stinky Primo seems good to fix a problem in frame design, they also have made frame tweaks and changes, curious how they work??
Thanks

Hey Cam, ping the fine folks at CK and ask them when they are going to get onboard with the 1.5 movement?

Does this help?

The 2007 calendar year will also bear witness to Chris King’s first new component offering in some time. DiStefano announced that 1.5” headsets will be offered “in limited quantities some time next year”. Details were a bit iffy, but a full range of colors is likely along with typical bombproof Chris King headset performance and the company’s unmatched 10 year warranty.

Why yes it does. I wonder if they will also offer the 1.5 reducer. I do love my cane creek, but I miss having my CK headset; the only complaint about moving to 1.5 I have had.
yeah, info on the SC changes including the new Bullit and perhaps run past the devinchi booth - check out the frantik and the rest of the canadian line up...

In the interest of accuracy, you should move the quotations from "security guards" to "event" ;)

I think I saw a Demo7 frame at Evolution today. It had dirt on it. It didn't have as many ugly tattoos as in the pics.
Nice that Bender is back in business. am so stressed out that i cannot think of any other comment on your great article.
oh, wait, bender's bike nearly looks like a enduro bike compared to his "scream" - ing times. and a single crown...? for cruising around?
