Okay, it's finally time to step up to the digi SLR. Since my dad already said he'd give me his old 55 and 200mm EOS lenses, I am set on a Canon, particularly the Rebel XTi. Is this the route I should go? Is it a good camera for biking stuff? How much should I pay? By the way, this is the one I'm looking at buying:

That's as cheap as I could find one. Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Okay, I did a little research and found out that seller is a complete douchebag, so I guess I'll resort to B and H. Also, I think I'll go with the XT. I don't really think the XTi is worth the xtra bucks.

Get the canon EOS 1D MarkVXIIVIXXMCII n. i hear is way ahead of its time shoots at 3 MONDOPIXELS! on a more serious note reid is right the XTi is worth the extra money for sure.
