ok sick lense for sure, mm it is better on a full frame and a 1.3 crop body/ on the 350 it is not wide enough. bit I see u have some film bodies there it will shine on those. non the less the lense will be great. it is a amazing peice of glass. I shoot with,

canon 20d
1D mk1

sigma 70-200mm 2.8EX
canon 100mm 2.8 macro
canon 50mm 1.4
canon 20-35mm 2.8L
sigma 15mm fisheye

sunpak 544 flash
pocket wizzard plus kit

Sorry, let me clarify. I trust Certain Members on the NSMB forum more than camera review sites. I don't want to read a review from someone taking pictures of tractors in Podunk. I want to hear from my peers. I've already read all of the reviews, I just want to hear from a couple of MTB photographers that have the same lens and get a subjective review of it.

Can't pay too much for a quality lens, the sigma doesn't get tack sharp until f4 or 5.6, the L is decent wide open and speed is a consideration for this focal length for me.

Yeah I should have added on if you were going to use it for lowlight its good, its just so insanely expensive.

Sigma is quite soft a f/2.8.

How much did you end up paying anyways?

The 24-70 is awesome glass. Nice range to shoot in. Jack of all locations lens for sure. I shot this with a 24-70 I borrowed from a friend. It is such an awesome portrait lens.

1/250 @ f8 -- focal length was 52mm -- ISO 200 -- 3 softbox flashes set up at the Levis booth during crankworx

my buddy had one of those in a kit of stuff he rented to shoot for the CBC today. He also had a 5D, the EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM, and EF 24mm f/1.4L USM. He seemed to like the lens. I think it was ~$300 a day to rent all that, not that he was paying for it.
