Aww, cookie monster and elmo. He needs 60 ccs of MTB , Stat ! Throw a kiddy seat on the back of your bike and take him down flying circus, than he'll become an mtber.

I like how it appears he just gave up at the end. Nice progression in the pictures, hahahha.

How old is he? My wife is insistent that I don't take our new born out with her big sister until she is one year.

I figure as soon as she can sit up on her own she is good to go.

When I worked back in teh shop all it took was a ride in the Charriot and they stopped crying. Once they associate the Charriot with the Helmet... going fast with the wind... they enjoy it.

God forbid you stop though!

Goodluck man!

I got my son out on a bike with me when he was about 10 months old. He hated the helmet at first also until he got on the bike. We used one of those seats that you attach to the bike on a rat trap type thing. He kicked and screamed til we got him in it, then it was smooth sailing.

My son is 2.5 and is the exact same way. Once they get to a certain age and they see other people wearing them it seems OK. Hang in there.

That helmet is cool, it would match my cookie monster socks (I'm serious about the socks)

Chariots blow. I used the backpack style thing and tore up some single track with my little guy. He used to love it.

You mean that one that sits over the rear wheel like a rattrap for panniers? We refer to those as "the Catapult" when we see people running them.

no, the Chariots are these things... http://www.chariotcarriers.com/html_english/cougar2.htm

I had one trailer on the bike for awhile. They're great for road and mellow trails, but no good for single track / mellow DH.

You're thinking: "He took his child downhilling?"
The answer is: "Hell yes!!"

If they made one big enough it would make for a pretty funny "Jackass: kind of stunt for an adult go down. Although I would bet that the suspension on their cross country series wouldn't hold up very long!

Yeah, they're ok, but there's no way it would make it down Tomato Creek with junior strapped in.
