Once again Lee Lau makes the most of his opportunity to make us jealous of his travels.

Nice work Lee! Thanks for bringing us along.

That looks amazing!

It's hard to be jealous when there's really nothing stopping me from going to ride the same trails...but I'm still jealous!

Great photos, too. The panoramic shots provide more of a feel of the magnitude of the views.

nice article Lee.
We did the Northridge Trail, Wakefield Trail and a trail in Silverton in 1 day. Good times.

No kidding! One of these summers, I'm going to skip getting a seasons pass, just travel around to all these great spots Lee has documented, and enjoy the XC.

Thanks for another great write-up.

Thanks all. No questions??

Met up with Keith and Johanna. Johanna is working a ton but still took out time to give us lots of useful information. Then got a grand tour by Jorg Becker. Lots of potential.

Over 800m/2700ft of descending prime cherry singletrack with no crowds, views of the Valhallas on one side and Kokanee Glacier on the other. Friendly town. a jewel in the Slocan Valley. Need I say more?

More pictures to borrow, thanks Lee. When were you there? Do you always follow me around?

I bailed on the Grim Reefer the day before, so I took Old Sandon Road down instead of the Wakefield. OSR has lots of good little hits and it's super flowy all the way back to town. Plus I didn't have to ride back from Silverton.

They're shared for sure. It's research time for me. New stuff for next summer. Long climbs for epic views and that feeling of having earned a beautiful view and a trail that few people ride. I've been lucky to have an old friend living in New Denver. I love that town.
