I have a 04 gemini 900 , and I'm thinking about changing over to a saint rear derailer . Do you think that's a good ideal or should I stick with the XT . I was talking to a sales rep at cove , and he said I could buy an premade rear wheel with a 10mm hole and just buy the shaft from shimano . What's your take on this . I want to make the right choice .

theres a guy from abbotsford with the axle for a saint deraillieur for sale on these boards..super cool guy to deal with and save you some coin..
as far as the derailleiur goes you'll notice 100% improvement in shifting, as well as increased durablity.

I'm the guy you're looking for. But I don't know what size axle the Gemini has. If it is 12mm, then I have to part you need.

And Roman Candle, how do you know me? Just curious.

I was on here asking questions , wweather or not to switch to a saint derailer . roman candle mention your name to me . But I've already chatted with you about a week ago . The axle that you have will fit the gemini but only if it is a dh version . all other gemini uses a 135mm length . That's what I was told by the mech at bsp. Sorrry for not e-mailing you back before .

i've got saint on my bike, and the durability is second to none.
i find the shifting is so-so though - if you want crisp shifting you have to keep your cable and housing clean clean clean, or replace it often. even then, it has a firm reluctant action, not the super light XT feel.
