I've done my searching here, DZ and PB and came up with a lot of threads which consist of 90% BS and 10% real info.
2005 888VF
or
2005 888RC
I am currently running the VF and thinking about upgrading to the RC's.
I am wondering (from those who have ridden both) if they are different aside from the external adjustments on the RC.
Once both forks are setup to your riding style, is there a difference between the two ?
thnx

yes. One has compression adjustment and one doesnt.
Its not just a nob. Its a whole cartrige which your VF doesnt have.
Worth the upgrade.

completely worth it, when both forks are tuned to your riding style the RC still has the added adjustments that give it the ability to be fine tuned to changing situations. that and as far as I know the RC doesn't suffer from spiking at high speeds as the VF does.

It would almost be impossible to tune both forks equally.
With the VF, what you get at low speed hits is the same you get at high speed hits.
With the RC, the compression and rebound will change its characteristics to better compinsate for the different terrain it encounters.
