We just got in a Rock Shox Argle at Steed Cycles about 5 minutes ago. It's a Argyle 318 coil, and retails for $499.99, that'd be a sweet choice!

id go with the jumper. The Pike just flat out isnt made for street abuse. I have a Pike on my all mountain ride, and a '05 DJ1 on my street ride. Just last week my mountain rig was temporarily out of service so i decided to try out the Pike on my street ride. I didnt feel nearly as confident as i do with my DJ. Of course the pike looked pimp, felt great, and was nicly adjustable, but you dont really need all those qualities on a street ride. On a street ride your main concern should probably be strenth.

But an Argyle would be sweet too!

Keep the pike, They feel oh so good. I hate having to use my jumper but the springs are to soft in my pike. And no sense in buying new springs when the p3 is here in a week

Crap, I just bought a Pike 426 for my Balfa Minuteman frame that I use for urban and dj, or my girlfriend uses for trail riding. It's just little, so it fits her perfectly.

I think it'll hold up...but maybe I should have waited for the Argyle!-cheaper too!

I have the 07 Pike too...maybe it's a bit different and can hold up better?

They hold up fine, there is a reason many of jumpers use the pike. But i weigh 140 and the stock springs arn't stiff enough when i tak'r on some rough landings.

DJs always feel like shit when I try them out, Pikes feel amzing. I haven't owned either though, so I can't comment on toughness.
