Hey there,
Just wondering, what´s the reason for Goodridge brake hoses not being compatible with Avid disc brake systems? I know that there´s a reason that was postet on here before, but neither can I find it here nor in the Goodridge FAQs. Can somebody tell me what would happen if I put Goodridges on my Juicy 5? And even if it wouldn´t be 100% compatible and would require some tweaks, would it do any bad to my Juicy or is Avid just writing that stuff because they want people to use their brake hoses? Help please!

Thanks,
Moritz

Thanks, good to hear. What system are you yousing? Does it make the break feel a lot better / significant difference?

Btw. check your PMs :)

I remember reading somewhere (I think the Avid manual) that the hoses would expand slightly during operation to allow for more modulation. I don't know how Goodridge would affect that, but you might get brakes with more bite.
