And lady gravity, that rock face is the one on detroit rock city, theres a dumb little step up after it thats spray painted pink. If that helps.

It was definately a fun trip, I'm going to try hard to stay out there for waaaaayyy longer next year...

is that an illusion or are you doing that steep in the wet?
If you are, I bow before you, that takes serious balls and skill. It was scary enough for me in the dry.

ahhh yes it does, that was the only section i didn't ride, it looks like you have to huck the end so i gave it a miss until next time

That rockface is on the nationals course. Might be that section is called Detroit Rock City..but she is part of le race course.

Yeah, they changed the name to rock city last year I think.

I remeber it as the nationals course too, but was told otherwise by someone in whistler so i started calling it detroit rock city.

Yeah, the sign says Rock City now. That is a great pic of it, truly captures the intensity. Its a nice face once you have survived the first try, almost didnt do it even when it was dry. I had M@M to guinea pig it and coax me into doing it though...

Yup, At least it happened on the last day :( I get a nice 3 month break from riding now.

DAMNN!!! That is steep. I have ridden that rock face to step-up countless times but I have never looked at it from the bottom up. That picture makes it look really steep.

I fractured my scaphoid in half midway through March and didn't get my cast off until the end of June, and it still wasn't completely healed either.

Yeah I know the fun, this is my second time in the same one. It happened the first time back in the beginning of november and I didnt get the cast off till january.
