Cheap whistler hotels

Am looking for a hotel for one or two nights that is as cheap as possible, and biker friendly (though I am not sure a hotel up there would be non biker friendly). Anyone have any suggestions, and rate estimates...

I just stayed at the whistler creek lodge this weekend

5km away from the main lifts, but $70 a night.....crazy deal

Looks pretty good. Think Coast Whistler is it. got a girl coming, so privacy might be an issue, otherwise I would stay at UBC lodge.

If any of you are looking for rooms on a budget it might be worth enquiring about short-term accomm at Whistler staff housing for the rest of the summer, you just never know... :smokey:
