All software used by my freind is freeware. You cal also use Apple's Quicktime.

More important is hardware setup. you can browse thru the net searching "how to make QTVR panorama" but from I've been told you'll need:
- fisheye lenses (or very wide-angle ones)
- modified tripod (so the brace is offsetted)

Very cool. We tried to make one in our media and art class in high school but failed. The fish eye lense would of helped allot. We did have the attachment though. It worked fine for regular panoramas but as soon as you'de try to connect other "dimmension" they would snap together all funny.
