And a little comment about the lack of crowd noise. I was with a bunch of kids with signs just below the road gap where the mulch jump was last year and we were literally yelling ourselves horse from the start of the comp to the end. I know we got some people's attention and i think some guys from nsmb snapped some shots of us that haven't been posted. I guess we don't have enough cred but if u guys with the camera's have pictures of kids with pink signs please post them up or pm me so i can check them out elsewhere.

That is why one of our signs read, "WE :heart: the godfather". Trying to get the man that is Wade amped and show respect that even though everybody is talking about the "new school" that the old timers are still respected for what they did.

When the link at the end said "discuss crankworx here" (or whatever it said), I thought there'd be some good discussion about the article, comp, etc... Instead it's just 12 year olds fighting about who has brighter colours, more friends, and any other assinine subject. Take the fight to the school yard where it belongs, let people discuss crankworx here.

I was part of the crew rocking pink signs, the group of people where only half of them have ever mountain biked and all of us were loud as hell. The point is, we screamed our asses off for everyone, we were recognizing what needed to be recognized, and we got people around us amped. If you want to come next year and cheer too, then fine, I'd be more than happy to see you out there. The more people cheering for these guys the better. Either way, we were loud enough and proud enough that, as Stuart said, the photogs turned our way multiple times. Who cares what color we wore, who cares who's louder, we just wanted to give the riders the credit and energy they needed. There's no doubt we'll return. I sure hope you guys do too, with as much energy as you're putting into dissing everyone.
