Anyone know whats up with Whistler Action Video? I'm coming up there fairly soon and I've been trying to get a hold of them via phone and sending emails and no one returns emails or picks up the phone.
The mesg says, they're not taking rentals right now (or something like that)--which make no sense since, if I'm not mistaken, rentals are their only business?
Anyone got any info on this?
Thanks,
B

Well, I had heard you should get a reservations weeks before coming up to assure you can get a cam on the 1 day I'm going to ride. I can just walk in and grab a setup?

I would call summit. Odowd no longer has his shop setup in there, but I have spoken with him and he does still rent, he told me to get the guys in summit to call if I couldn't track him down myself.
WAV is nolonger associated with summit and as far as i know isn't going at all, apparently all the head cams are broken.
Im not completely 100% on this but its what i've been told

I called Summit and they made it sound like WAV was dead. Are there any other companies up there that rent helmet cams?
Thanks

Dave isn't renting stuff anymore.....the equipment just wasn't durable enough to handle day after day of beatings......that being said, dave's an awesome guy and props to him for trying to make a go of it!

Met Dave at the first Ripper after party. Super nice guy.
Did an amazing job filming the Ripper races and editing.
