Finally, wednesday im going to the whistler bike park (my first time).
I suppose you could say im an intermediate-advanced rider, i can do most of the stunts on hekyl and jekyl (woodlot), all the stunts on shotgun(woodlot) and some on blood donar/ karpenter/ giant killer(woodlot). So what will be a good like for me to try when im all warmed up ? Im thinking of warming up on blues and diamonds, but when im ready which trails ? Which major trails are closed ? How hard is it to ride the "c-wall"
Thanks all - Josh

I think this one has been done to death. Try and do a search. if not, then I would suggest you just work your way up. Start with something like crank it up, see how you feel after that, then maybe hit whistler downhill. I find that is a good warm-up run. Then, depending if you want to the typical jump trails, try aline or dirt merchant. Parts of a-line are closed, cant remember which parts.
Do you want tech or jumpzzz?

If you can ride H&J, you're past the intermediate stage, dude.
I was about to say the same thing. Especially when you said you can clean "most" of the stunts.

not really sure i'd call it "done", at least not as of saturday. a new section has been added on to the end, but it's pretty rough still.

Some of the stunts man.
Like that really long uphill skinny than you take a sharp left and hit that logride and that drop.
That skinny over the trail to logride and than corner than another loggy and the drop.
Cant do the big drops or like those 20 foot stepdowns

The c-wall is tough. I'm an alright rider (I'm not amazing on walls) but I bailed off it twice today before giving up.
If you're good on wallrides, I don't think you'd have a huge problem... give it a shot at least.

why bother? wait until the last day to do stuff that you'll get hurt on.
I am always swayed by a nice rip through hornet, and therefore, rarely go in the boneyard. Lower aline is very fun, but so is heart of darkness.

Do you know if you need the actual credit card to rent a bike from GARBO ? Can you have just the number on a piece of paper and a written note of permission with phone number ETC.

Ummm. Good luck getting a scrap of paper approved for the rental of a multi-thousand dollar bike...
Most places will take an imprint of the card (that they make), along with a copy of a driver's license, and a signature from the card's primary user.

What you can do is once you're up there, go out, grab a couple of loose women and drink and party as much as you can. Then go to one of the shops and pick up a nice Demo and some candy. Then go and ride. On your lunch break, call your step dad and tell him someone stole his CC. Then go back to the hotel room where the 4 girls from the night before are waiting for you and have your way with them. Have a drink and then head up the mountain for an afternoon ride. On your last run, jump off the #3 GLC drop with your eyes closed and see if you land it. Once you're down in one piece, call up your step dad and say that you found the credit card and not to worry. Hit up the girls in the hotel again and head home with your new demo and hand over the CC to your step dad as soon as you hit the door. Sleep, wake up and then listen to the swearing when he realizes someone racked up some cash on the card. Tell him you're sorry for loosing it and will track down the SOB. He'll be okay with it and now you're one weekend under your belt of hot s e x and riding with a new demo.
How's that for advice ?
