Just rode this morning. Not too bad for a friday before long wknd.
Who's up here and thoughts on what runs to stay on ...
and time of day to ride ...
I'm thinking late afternoon/night.
.. because I'm still dialing in my new a-line, I still want to hit the trail the bike was made after but man... friggin' people all over that one today. Saw some guys eating f*cking hot dogs in the middle of the run just below the rockdrop around 11:30 this morning. :flame:

BuahAhahahahaha. . yeah right. I rode on Thursday, and it was punishing. Braking bumps on every trail.. Some are more like 4in potholes.

Seriously guys, learn to love em, makes riding much more interesting.
braking bumps up at fort william get upto 1ft deep or more, same for many other riding spots in europe, you guys dont know how lucky you've got it with the trail crews up here.
fuck yes, got a last mintue ride up tomorrow. Maybe I'll see some of you guys there. Myself on a new greeen 05 ollie (http://bb.nsmb.com/showthread.php?t=82464) and my buddy on an rm7 ws.

I was up today and I'm up again tomorrow. First day of the season, I didn't get up to Garbonzo though.
Master Plan Dan, that berm is kinda outta commisson. WB has torn up pretty much all of crabapple to put in some pipe, so ALine is closed at the bridge and there's a temporary trail that comes out right near the top of WC Singletrack and the next section of ALine.
kookboy, I was riding a black 05 ALine or a Red 05 Demo9 (I switched it up with my buddy a couple times) with a Caps Richmond jersey on. If you notice me tomorrow, say hi!

Freight train/No joke is nice. Some little ruts at the top but nothing these bikes can't handle.

NO! Face in hands crying... no sobing! Yeah I gather that much as I was told about the snow making equipment going in.
So I guess that I am staying up top! 2004 dirty Blue Shore... red and balck full face. Be there are 4ish on Sunday and all day on Monday!

Freight Train was alright, pretty rutted in a lot of spots though. I only rode it once. There's some sweet stuff on it though!

wow i had a wicked day up there, rode from 12 to 7 :D garbanzo's so awesome. that little detour off a-line is fun! crank it up extension not quite there yet..lol..still a little rough, but at least the potential is good. i have weird tan lines due to my armour..Yaaay!

Yeah, garb was really empty. It was pretty dusty up there, but thats my only complaint.

it was awesome! i was amazed at how few people there were, for a weekend, but it may have been because of the bear mtn race.
and yes m@m, that would have been me on the weyless with a shiver.
I'll be up there tomorrow- real name Ed, riding an SX Trail 2, wearing a D2 anda Red Stripe-branded Shift Jersey. Probably riding with a guy on a Big Hit. Give me shout if you see me up there! :agree:

I was there, and it was my first time..no hot dogs for me, just playin catchup all day long with Master Plan Dan...can't say I was overly impressed by all of the ruts and whatnot. Figured Whistler would be smoother.
Anyhow, hope everyone had a great weekend!

Yeah that was good times.... have frieght and dirt dialed... minus the bumps. Eat it for some reason and I ahave no idea on the small rock roll after the bridge on Dirt... can't quite figure out why my wheel went the way that it did!
Very weird...
Other than that... sick day. My bike on the other hand needs tons of work as I was shaking it to pieces!
