I just got back from my trip to Santa Cruz, and holy shit is there some crazy riding up there. I was on my Flow so I couldn't do much of the stuff I would have liked to, but god damn. The trails are almost all illegal and are very hidden, but they are sick and insane. The trail that I took on my last day was up in a super dense forest and was so steep in spots that you couldn't even walk it. Easily the steepest trails I have ever seen/ridden. They were all singletrack though and super fun, but the directions and names of the trails are considered confindential to the local riders. I had to go to 5 shops and piece together what each said in order to get to where I was going. It was worth it though.
