Alright I know it's not "Whistler" but I think Silver Star is easily the #2 resort to ride in Canada. I finally got my shit together and did some editing. The trail is Rock Star and if you like tables and burms then you will love this trail. I had to edit out some parts otherwise it would be 12 minutes long. The riders are Britnee Boychuk and me, Mike Bramble. Thanks to Nathan from Kamloops for filming. your so wizard Nate.

hope you like it.

Sorry, but broadbandsports is the only site that is big enough to take the entire vid with good quality.

I will be up there on Friday. Give me a shout out. Orange Bullit. Grey fox helmet.

cheers.

Mike

Hey... I am in Vancouver... how long of a drive to go there? Without speeding... one too many tickets for that to happen too many more times!

Cheers!

ahhhh ok... 1. The trail is called "Rock Star" like I originally posted... 2. I live in Kelowna and can make it to Vancouver in 3 1/2 hours so it should take you about 4 1/2 from Van to Silver Star... 3. The camera I use it a Sony DSC M1 digital camera that has enhanced movie features. I have a 2.0 GB memory card which gives me 1 1/2 hours of video recording time. I crashed last year and broke the screan on the camera but it still takes perfect video.... 4. and Yes I was up there with it duct taped to my helmet. It looks kinda haggared and ghetto but works awesome.... 5. The trails at whistler will always be known as the best in the world, but If it wern't for the atmosphere of whistler the trails at Silver star would be just as good. Silver Star has only really been putting the massive effort in mountain bikeing for 2 years now and it will only get better. Deffinetley worth the trip.

That is a cool little video.

I was up there at Silver Star this past weekend. I have to agree #2 behind Whistler, Sun Peaks in my mind has been eclipsed by Silver Star.

The mountain has a good variety and has lots of flow.

A FAST CHAIR RIDE TO THE TOP!!!!!!!, hot friendly liftie girls make for a great hill
