Pink

...IMHO....the Black and Kelley Green are by far the sickest colours, id hit either (and hopefully will be by the end of summer) i dnt like the Pink too much. id have to see it in person but to me it dusnt look very pink it would be way better if it was like the Cove pink.....the polished is just lame tho.

Discuss if you can be arsed.

OooooooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooo

That Kelly Green is sick. I'd Loooooooove to get me one of those. I also love how every one seems to have a different bulid and feel to them.

Yeah, I agree with you. Black and green are cool, the pink is weak, and I hate polished on any bike. I really like the look of that bike. How much rear travel does it have? I seem to remember 150mm, is that correct? It looks to be a killer bike.

5.5 inches of rear travel it says on their web site. That's just enough to smooth out bumps at speed maybe.

You can build one of each and then ship them to my house.

Thanks!

I just saw the 'pink' frame. Not my thing, but it more electric, light fuschia than pink and it's pretty hot for what it is.

Pretty impressive leverage ratio too at 2.47:1. Smooth.

I like the polisished one the bike is sick one of nicest short travel rigs ive seen. I have no idea why i like it so much but it looks like the perfect bike for many applications these days.

No one in this post said the Bottlerocket was better than any of those bikes you listed so I would say that it was up to you to decide why.

I bet that thing would fly over the cobbles of Roubaix. Some slicks and spandex and you're ready to go....:agree:

Has Cam done write up on the bottlerocket? If not why not?

Simon, out of all of those bikes that you posted, I really love the Mountain Cycle. As it is, it's all down to personal taste and the fact that the latest bike will always be lusted for.

Not Better just different - Geometry, Price, Pivot Point, Weight.

I think what makes this bike so popular is the fact that you can get a 5.5"
travel bike in a crazy low stand over which is very appealing looking, and
hits a pricepoint where alot of people would be interested in buying a
frame over a complete bike.

With the pivot on the seat stay, I wonder how this bike would react to bumps
with pedal and brake feed back???

Is it like a single pivot design then???

Thought so.

@Rida Guy,
Yes, the design is basically a single pivot. A true four-bar has to have the horst-link on the chain-stay. If I am correct.

ahhh well thanks for the update...:D....id still rather have a bottlerocket though :P

Rida Guy....i think the frame will react well to small bumps....i rode my friends 223 and it was very active, thats all im going on but yeah....im not too sure about pedal bob but with im sure it wouldnt be that bad.
