Haha, gosh why would you ever oil it? Now you have to wait until your hub is running dry again to get the really loud click back....
Why would you mantain your hub like that? Sheesh...

just give it some time and as the (oil?) grease works its way around the sound will return.
.......it`s a good thing

I heard a 12-year old going nuts over a 'clicky' freewheel in Cove on Sunday -
'Dad! Dad! That's how I want my bike to sound!'
'Well, how do you make it sound like that?'
'I don't know, but it's really cool!'

im the same way, i want my bikes totaly silent, no creaks, no rubbing of anything just silent, and im glad to say my ht is this way, but its that much better when you have a silent bike and an obnoxiously loud hub!

I'm with ATN here. My rear hub started silent and just a couple of rides in it is clicking. I want it silent again, but given how new it is, I'm just going to let everything bed in for a while.

My king hub (when i had it) was never all THAT loud. At speed it had a very recognizable buz to it that stood out, but it was never really loud. Good lord i miss that hub *sigh* fucking deemax and its shitty engagment. Feels like absolute shit after coming off a King.

Sure you can. My hadley is 10x louder than any king I have heard.

In the meantime, just tape a couple of hockey cards to your seat stay poking into your spokes, that should give you a more motorcycle like noise until your clicky hub comes back.:thepimp:
