DOC serial number?

I just saw someones thread about their bikes getting stolen and I decided to finally write down the serial numbers on my bikes. I found them on my DH frame and fork no problem, but I can't seem to find it on my DOC. Does anyone know where it is?

Thats a great idea. I've had 3 stole so far and now I'm always up to date on the serials and the parts spec on all my bikes. Can't help with the DOC but congrats!

All evil bikes have serial numbers but you cant find them since they've been painted over...... real smart... we found this since we sand blasted daves. ive had 2 DOC and ive found both since there are really small imperfections in the paint were they are down tube adn BB, but ive just put my own serial numbers on. liek you drivers liecnece number

thats not a bad idea as long as its perminent. My balfa is without a # (i guess its painted over too) so i might have to follow that advice. Thanks dude!

My clifcat just doesnt have a seriel number at all. Bit of advice my friend did it to great effect in the uk. If the police get your bike back and you need to prove its yours put a note in the handlebars with general information on it (before its stolen obviously) police though it was smart idea.

Balfa's serial number usualy is just over the BB shell on the non-drive side.

PS- Its too damn funny. Ive never experienced such dedication from a company, and hell, you guys arent even making the damn things anymore! Ive exchanged emails with jamie quite a few times and he gets back to me in no more than 2 days. If I ever have the money/opportunity to get a Real, i will jump on it without hesitation.
