so i just pulled my bike out of the shed, i havent ridden it for about a month because my rear shock is broken, anyway im taking it up to whistler for the weekend and when i compressed the front shock it sticks. i dont know if this makes sense but its really annoying and worrying me. its a 2005 66vf. maybe it needs new oil? or maybe because it sat for a while.? please someone help!

does it stick and stay compressed? or just sticky in the seals and such?

roughly an inch of the travel sticks after compression, till i push down more then it sort of pops up really fast. its pretty much the amount i can push down when im not riding it is all sticky. and gets stuck

put a couple of drops of tri-flow on each the stanchion... spread it a little bit. see if that helps.

Its because your seals have no oil in them, turn your bike upside down and pump the forks a few times to get the oil into them as marz forks are open bath lubed.

ooooor it could be that your bushings are worn or that the bushings are rubbing due to the fork axel being incorrectly tightened up. I made the mistake of not following the instructions on my manitou nixons and it stuck at the top of the travel because the lowers were twisted.
