I hate to air dirty laundry on a public forum, but...

A year ago I read a post by Falcon171. He was urgently looking for a spring for his new Fox40. I had one and offered it up for sale. At his request I sent it COD. For some stupid reason, Canada Post fucked up and didn't collect the cash.

After a year of emails from Mr. Bill Preston (Falcon171 on this Forum) promising me my $55, I've given up. The money's not that big a deal, it's just the principle. I'm so sick of mtn bikers with $5000 bikes that act like little children.

Of course CP messed up - that's not the point - but this fine fellow never rectified the situation despite repeated promises. Look, I'm not looking for a public hearing - as far as I'm concerned the $$ gone - just warning you all not to deal with this guy. Cheers.

yea, after thinking about what i said i guess there is no harm, its just im always weary of my security over the internet. Sharing personal info freaks me out, but as i think about it, ive probably given my name away to 5 different sites in just the last week. Back in the day my parents would freak me out by telling me to NEVER share ANY kind of info about me online, and i guess its kinda stuck with me over the years.

The member list might have stopped auto updating. NSMB might have given up on it. Doesnt seem to serve any beneficial purpose does it ?

i'd be all over canada post on that one. let them track him down and collect the cash but first they should pay you. if you have the receipt they have no choice, they have to pay you.

It's because he likes to sell something right after he buys it. Do a search for all his B/S threads (Well you cannot anymore, but it was a lot). He would be selling or trying to trade a frame or fork like every week. He must lose a ton of money on the bike changes he does.
