the shop where you bought it can't reprint the receipt?

sometimes the receipt thing seems like a loophole for products with a lifetime warranty. I mean, if a product is warrantied for life (which a helmet probably isn't), who cares who bought it or when or where? I always like Banshee's take on that - its our product, it failed, replace it, end of story.

warranty is for the original owner - as a payback for having purchased the bike from an authorised dealer. Second owner has done nothing with their purchase to benefit the company or their authorised dealers. Thats my take on lifetime warranty...
