Man, I am feeling slightly depressed these days. I haven't ridden my big bike in so long I am starting to get depressed. Worst off, I am in Vancouver and my bicycle is in Squamish being fixed... okay it is already fixed I just don't have enough time to go get it.

Now for the reason for this thread...

Do you get angry and irritable when you haven't ridden for a while? Also how many times do you ride a week to delay the onset of this feeling?

I am growing up and as time passes me by... I am finding that I am spending less and less time on my bike... one of the only things that brings me joy!

(Except for Courtney... shout out to all the wives and girl's!)

Anyone?

Cheers!

just be happy knowing that you will be riding again soon...

and when that day comes slog yourself silly.

There is always time to ride but somtimes you have to work hard to fit it in.

I do most of my riding after 8:00 PM

No. I haven't ridden in over a month. Screw you for asking!

Seriously though, I'm counting the seconds to Aug. 2nd when I can ride again. Irritable is a gross understatement.

I havnt ridden in about a week and a half because of my bum leg which is taking longer to get better than it should. Im really cranky because of it.

I think I rode 2 weeks ago...or was it 3?

A new position at work has me going from 6 am to about 8pm....kinda puts a cramp in after work riding.

Any free time I get I prefer to spend with my girl....which would normally be spent riding, but is not in the cards until next year.

I try to find comfort in the fact that I got paid 75/hr to drive home today, but It didnt help to see all the people loading up their bikes post ride when I pulled into parkgate to find somehting to wolf down for dinner.

Not riding as much anymore is now ok because I have a motocross bike to ride instead. I'm at about 3:1 in moto:MTB riding lately and I'm lovin' it!

But anyway, before that, I never rode for 7 months. All winter and through to spring. I managed to get on my BMX a couple of times but its just filler. Having triplets will do that to a guy.;)

I havent riddin in about a month. I think that my partners think I am dead...hey StefB I am still kickin.

I do however have a vicious climbing addiction. Every morning Squamish calls me to come and caress her sweet granite. Whats that, I will be there tomorrow! See there she goes again!!!

I know how it is dan, but i ride at least every weekend, even if it is just to some little dirt jumps and gaps. Or a little urban ride on the big bike while going to get food. Like people have said, got to make time or find it.
