I decided Heather and I needed to ride something a little different yesterday, a little adventure if you will. Now I have a bad habit of suggesting we go and "try" some new trails. She's still a pretty new rider, but is given'r pretty good. Some of my previous "suggestions: include, Massage Therapy, the DH race course at SunPeaks (with that huge steep wooden ramp, in 3in of mud), and Espresso. Usually resulting in swearing and anger, aimed in my direction. Now for a change I though about the Woodlot. I've been there a couple times but just the trickier stuff, Gold, Carpenter, Giant Killer, BD etc etc. I've heard that the Cabin trail isn't too bad, but that's how things seem to start. We took the extra climb up to the Cabin trail, and had an awesome run down Cabin, Snakes and Ladders, to Shotgun.. Wow, the trails are minty minty minty.. That loop's nice as there are ride arounds for all the stunts on S&L and Shotgun, and not too steep, but still have awesome speedy flow. It seems I actually picked a winner this time :agree: There was no swearing to be heard, and no promising never to return. We'll definetly be back.

hehehe, me too, and Massage Therapy, Wild Cherry, Fat Bastard, and a few other hiking expeditions that just turned out bad.

Cabin/Snakes/Hoots/Shotgun is her favorite ride now.

nice.. at least I'm not the only one. We were at Sun Peaks opening weekend last year, and there was thick black goop over half the trails. Dave, we should hit it up one day.
