and I fly out Wednesday night for Europe. Stoked. Starting with a couple of days hiking in Switzerland then on to Le Tour. Riding one of the Cols on Sunday, Monday (tour rest day) probably crossing over to Italy and riding around Sestriere. If we're feeling up to it maybe the Colle de Finistre.

Tuesday's going to be good. A buddy pulled some strings and got us passes to the start area for me and my brother's birthday gift. Get's us in to see all the teams warming up and hanging out. There's been talk of going to ride the Ventoux after the start. Wednesday's probably going to be an easy day with a spin up the Galibier to watch the race go by and then we have to boot it up to a co-workers place near Annecy. Thursday we're going to watch it from the Col d' Aravis before I have to drive to Germany for a trade show while my brother heads to Paris for the finish.

I'll post some pics as I take em.

sorry I haven't downloaded the pic yet but we did Alpe du Huez today. It is crazy busy already. There's no where too park on the hill and it's still 2 days away. people are already camped on the Col Du Glandon. It was stinking hot at the bottom with a thunderstorm going off in the area which nailed us as we got to the last switchback.

just got back last night. great trip. having a pass to the start area was awesome. you could just walk up and talk to the riders, check out their bikes etc. pretty cool. just sorting through pics but this ones a keeper.
