Awesome contest!
The smoothness! The style!
Simply awesome.
The Video (http://www.f-bmx.com/)
As a point of intrest, pretty much all the 360's were done opposite.

The vid is somewhat lacking. It also seems like much less went down this year. Wasn't there a triple whip last year by Nyquist? I didn't see much that was new or evolutionary - but it was a little tough to see what was going on because of the quality of the vid.
Thanks for posting all the same. Hopefully RB will get something better up soon. Pretty cool that the Claw finished 9th.

I think the comp was a bit trickless this year just on the shear size of the jumps and the whole course, non the less its unreal that is all I gotta say.

I liked the fact the the winner was fully nameless.
I think the most impressive move was the opposite 360 transfer on the last double. Unreal.
A 360 is nothing special but when the rider is doing it on a huge transfer and spinning in his bad direction it's pretty cool. Not something that the masses generally notice tho.

I've got 5 bucks that says none of those guys rode their bikes to the event.

Yep, I ride my bike up to Whistler all the time when I ride there.
Anyhow, that Red Bull comp should be the model for Crankworks. I realize it's a bit of a different animal, but everything moves so smoothly and quickly. Actually, I only saw qualifiers this year, so I'm assuming everything was smooth and quick this year as well.
The format makes sense, is easy to follow and keeps you interested. There's no standing around. The announcer knows what he's talking about and you can understand him. All in all, it's just a really cool event.

uh... anyone who says that vid was "lacking," yeah, i'll admit it wasn't the most exciting editing/filming wise, but a 20" throw down on a double that big is retarded. just face facts.

1st - Corey Bohan - flips and whips in the top section, opposite 360 table to regular 360 over the giant doubles at the top, opposite tuck no-hander 3 to nosed in one-hand one-foot 3, one-foot x-up flips on the big double at the bottom, BEAUTIFUL inverted one-foot seat-grab table 3, basically perfect tricks on every jump in the course.
