the jumps get as big as 40 foot gaps this year.. that's like mini moto cross!

Greyhound it man, I think it's $40 return trip. They also used to have buddy fares where it was cheaper for 2 people, but I'm not sure if that's still around

the jumps are pretty crazy, they decided to slow down the jumps this year and make it more tech, but still have a lot of airtime. they look amazing. i'm eager to see what happens.

the rider list has SO MUCH potential... very cool stuff is going to get thrown down for sure.

the last jump is massive. lip is abt 7 feet, landing is about 8-9 feet at least, and they are about 20-25 feet apart. the landing has no flat bit to case, so if you case you pretty much fall 8 feet straight to the ground.

since the jumps go downhill, a lot of the landings are the size of buildings. i can't imagine the kind of Gs the riders get heading from so high in the air, going into the landing, going downhill for a bit, then being shot back up in the air by a steep lip... so crazy....

Gnar huge. just watching the riders hit it for the first time in practice, there were plenty of dead sailors to be had. Not to blame them tho, that shit must be so hard to dial.

qualifying was very cool. someone (i don't know who) pulled a tailwhip to indian air, as in whip the bike round then catch it with your hand and do an indian air.

berrecloth took everyone by surprise and qualified. i'm stoked to see what happens for the final, it seems like everyone's got something up their sleeve... a lot of rumours....

oh, and frontflips have now become a mid-set trick. wtf.

yah eh. who the fuck does a front flip as a warmup jump? i thought i was a pretty gnar front flip tuck nohander. but im not sure. So much chaust to be had with those jumps. i want to go up and take photos, but fuck paying for gas again.
