helmet woes..before and after

So, I got this awesome lid from TLD, the SE Henry:

Gave it a quick try-on and it felt pretty good. Wore it a bit longer the next day and it was just too damn big :( I was sad.

So I tried a few different helmets on, and wanted something that was a bit smaller, lighter, and well...not as damn hot :) Lesson learned there.

So this arrives and thus far it is my dream helmet. Is amazingly light, fits perfectly, and looks great (to me).

I got the se cause i only wear a full face on dh days and i value the extra protection over looks and weight.

d2's are sexy though.

The SE is wicked, just too big for my medium head. Such is life. I feel a small would be too small, but the medium is too big. Go figure. The medium in the D2 fits perfectly soooo all is good.

I wore an mx helmet for a while until I broke the chin guard off landing on my face from a skinny 8 or so feet up. I walked away with a sore jaw and that was it. Worth every penny. Went to a madmax2 afterwards, and after that helmet was put through the ringer for quite a few seasons, I have moved onto the d2. Hopefully, the cost and look of that helmet will keep me from falling on it...

pretty much, i think any helmet looks a bit weird with the visor down but thats just personal preferance

It'll always look weird when you have the visor down, but hey, the guy just got it and snapped pics. If I got a D2 from UPS I'd be pretty pic happy too.

the visor will be up a bit more when riding, i just put it on and snapped a shot :)

I tried to get a pic of the cat with her head in there...i tossed some food in the helmet and by the time i got behind the camera, she had already gotten stuck, pissed off, and ran away :)

Yeah, I like the 2nd one much more than the 1st one too :)
