Canada Day Long Weekend Plans

What is everyone doing to celebrate Canada's birthday? I will be spending some time quality time up at Sunpeaks.

Whistler for my wife and I. Bike park on Saturday and Monday, Comfortably Numb and other valley trails on Sunday.

If it's insanely busy maybe we'll hop up to Sun Peaks for a day on Sunday and do CN Monday...

which one ????? - I can't decide (both are about a six hour drive after work on sunday).....I am leaning towards Whistler since Garbonzo is open -


(I will be working patrol at our local mountain Tabor on saturday and sunday- its opening weekend) - so it is a weekend of biking for me- (after weeks of doing nothing but sitting infront of my computer - and having to sit out last weekends race - that is a welcome change) I can not wait !!

Road trip to Brock Uni in St Cathrines. Joely doing some coaching for OVA pluse riding when not needed. All expenses paid by OVA. Amazing how accomadating OVA gets when she won them a Gold medal at Canada Games last year.

If I can, will get pictures of her riding.

so far.. spent Friday at Whistler before all the crowds arrived. Counted over 100 cars with bikes on them heading to Whistler as we drove back to North Van.

Saturday spent the day on Eagle with Stinky_rider7 (we rocked!) followed by a nice swim in the lake.

Sunday - Cypress / with a possible Squamish lap or two

Monday - Girly ride on Whistler.. (hoping all the crowds and attitudes leave on Sunday)

Yesterday in Whistler was awesome, I didn't take my bike just my camera. I'll post some pictures next week. We are heading back up to ride tonight and tomorrow. I'll be lovin' my Dainese tan lines, er, spots?!
