anybody heading downtown for this? should be a good day of racing. I haven't decided if I'm going in it or not. I'd have to race the Cat 3/4 when I've been racing Cat 5 for most of the year.

Also on Sunday Masi-Adobe is putting on a fundraiser race on Cypress - http://www.steamerracing.ca/frontpagenews6.htm All the proceeds go to Bicycles for Humanity

Sweet! It's amazing to think there aren't more races that climb Seymour and Cypress. In an alternative reality, I'd like to see a signature one-day UCI race that winds through Stanley Park, crosses the bridge, climbs Cypress, climbs Lonsdale, then finishes at the top of Seymour.

Of course, it'll never happen...

I heard cycling BC is working on a tour de BC that would go sea to sky to Lillooet and back to the Vancouver.

That would be sweet.

Not to sound bitter. But I'll save you the suspense.

Bring a trainer or rollers to warm-up on,I made the mistake of thinking I could warm up on the steets of Downtown, not a chance.Guys will punch it at the start and try to get away for sure so be ready to rip at the gun.Watch out for the first uphill turn after the start/finish it is tighter than you think, leave a gap ahead of you in warm-up and take fast if it's afe to do so.
Have fun it's a super fun course.
