Only my third or fourth ride out this year so I'm still workin' out the cobwebs, but damn I forgot how hard that trail is! I had no flow, walked down all those tech/rooty/rocky sections. Anyway, fun to be back in the saddle. It's REALLY quiet up Fromme on week nights!

quality of the recent work on ladies is lacking big time. Some of those rungs look like they were put together by a bunch of drunk guys in the middle of the night.

i last rode upper ladies back last september - is there more recent work up there now? i rode lower ladies quite awhile ago and it looked like no work had been done on it in ages and it seemed like it doesn't get ridden much.

and if it means anything, ladies worked me over bad every time i rode it. :(

neo - the recent wokr on Ladies looks like bears had sex all over it after getting a case of beer

is there plans to fix it or is it going to be closed and removed or what? i don't know what its like now but its likely getting dangerous then...

All kidding aside, the trail is in nice shape and there looks to be alot of recent work. I just don't have the balls/skillz to tackle some of those gnarly sections!

Can you honestly say that some that work dosnt look like it was put together by a bunch of drunk guys in the middle of the night ?

yup. better they don't ride the trail and get hurt. you pretty much need a full DH bike to have fun on ladies.

hehe, my best ride on Ladies was when I blew a wheel on the DH bike and had to ride the hardtail with barely working brakes. It's amazing how much better you can ride when you can't panic stop.

prolly would have been more appropriate to have shuttled up too

why do you need a full dh bike to ride ladies?

you can ride it on HT, but you can also ride Neds on HT. does that make either of them fun though?

well i've ridden both on a hardtail and while it wasn't ideal, i wouldn't say it wasn't "fun". i agree that they are better suited to duallies. i can't really comment on ladies that much though because i haven't seen this drunk building that you you speak of. but it is quite steep and a tough ride.

I've got a light freeride bike so I had better stay well away from that trail ... There's also a nasty heron as well ..

Neo

Ladies can certainly be a rough trail if you have not ridden it for a while but I love that trail. Once you get used to it you can totally flow it and make it down without feeling worked. Just pretend it is A-line and let the bike feel the trail. the love will come and then the trail just flows...

no doubt they are hacks that think they can build.... they should just give up
