Riding Near Nanaimo?

Hey,
I'm heading to Nanaimo with my bikes this summer. We will be doing a day trip to Mt. Washington but I'm wondering what the non-lift biking is like around Nanaimo.

pretty good networks around Namski.
Duomont road trails are fun, nice mix of XC and freeridey stuff.
Mt. Benson allegedly has good trails, but i've only found two.
The abyss is gnarlier XC, lots of fun.

the best part about Nam isn't so much what's right in Nam, but what's close by - Cumberland, Duncan, Parksville, Pt Alberni, etc. it would take a long time to get bored on the island.

some sweet trails on mt benson, you just have to know how to find them. cumberland has some great riding.
