Since it didn't get posted before (I was on the road), here's part 2 of my report from Moab. Code brakes, Truvativ hollow cranks, SRAM low-mount front derailleur and more...

If those are even half as powerful as my 4pot hopes were, I would be scared to run them :)

Wow, those photos of the desert make me want to go on a road trip, thanks Stuart.

:) You're welcome.
Moab is awesome, if you've never been. Go in the spring or fall, though. June is too damn hot.

I went to Moab about 8 or 9 years ago and I've been to Black Rock City Nevada a few times since then. Growing up in the rainforest of southwest BC and going to the desert is always a shock to the system and the senses. Maybe later this fall is time for a return.

All i can say is bollox to the brakes as much as id like to run them they are not going to be out in time to put on my bike since it needs to be built by august. Sick brakes however the levers are beautiful.

The brakes felt great, even though the ones I we were riding were brand new. They remind me a lot of the old XT four-piston stoppers, but with a wider lever blade.
Very nice to see the reach adjust screw in a position that's easy to access.
